The Search DR
If you are looking for an unforgettable experience The Search DR has you covered. Beginner, Intermediate or Pro, our staff members know when & where it’s firing! Regardless of your age or skill level, we can tailor a surf lesson or trip to your specific needs and desires. You’ll be very comfortable and very well taken care of by our crew who have many years of experience surfing in these waters.
- Training – In our 30 minute land portion of the lesson, you will practice a variety of different techniques that you will need to know before heading out to the ocean to catch waves. (Balance, Paddling, Pop-Up)
- Wave Riding – Now that you have learned the basics of safety, paddling and pop-ups, it’s time to put your skills to test. Put on your leash and spend the rest of the time surfing with the instructor.
- Knowledge – Basic wave reading including all possible factors.
- Safety – Ocean awareness
Private Lessons
Our instructors will give you the special attention necessary in a private surf lesson. They will teach you the fundamentals which guide you through the process of learning how to surf. No matter your skill level, you will learn the basics of board handling, positioning & paddling. We guarantee you’ll be up in no time!

Group Lessons
